CLARKSVILLE, TN— Signing day is a day full of excitement for many high school seniors around the country and that was the same for two Wildcats as Ahmoyre Galbreath and Jack Stein signed their National Letters of Intent (NLI).
“Anytime a kid uses football to continue his education is a win for the program and the kid,” said Wildcats Head Coach, Isaac Shelby about the signings.

Ahmoyre Galbreath will continue his football career at Kentucky Wesleyan. Galbreath will join former Wildcat, Donovan Bowles in Owensboro, Kentucky next season. Galbreath was a threat on both sides of the ball for the Wildcats. During the 2024 season, Ahmoyre rushed for 580 yards with 3 touchdowns. He added 3 catches for 30 yards. Defensively, the senior was second on the team in tackles with 75 including 10 tackles for loss and a sack. Galbreath also added an interception on the season.
“He is a legacy kid. It is great to see him move on to college and continue his education. Legacy kids are a huge part of the program,” said Coach Shelby about Galbreath. Galbreath is related to former Wildcat, Tennessee Volunteer, New York Jet, and Green Bay Packer great, Harry Galbreath.
When asked about a favorite memory of Galbreath, Shelby had this to say, “Ahmoyre, his Junior year blowing up the kid from West Creek on the first play of the game just showing his physicality.”

Jack Stein will also continue his college career in the Blue Grass State as he will attend Georgetown College and be a part of the Tigers 2025 team. Stein had one of the best senior campaigns in program history recording a team high 109 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and four forced fumbles. The 109 tackles is good enough for 5th all-time in a single season for the Wildcats. His five sacks also puts him in a tie for 6th in a single season.
For Coach Shelby, Jack’s story is one of true commitment to the program. “Development,” said Shelby, “a kid that did not play in middle school and did not start until he was a junior. He really worked and bought in to what [Coach Taylor] Stanley does in the weight room.”
Stein also had a great season playing offense this year for the Wildcats rushing for 454 yards and 8 touchdowns while adding 6 catches for 143 yards; however, there is a particular game for Stein, that Coach Shelby will never forget.
“Jack basically beating Springfield by himself when James went down cramping late in the game. Seemed like he made every single tackle and scored the long touchdown,” said Shelby.
