Former Wildcat drafted to the USFL
The name Bruno Reagan is very well known to the Clarksville High School community. From his years on the grid iron to the wrestling mats, Bruno established himself as one of the top athletes in the area during his prep career. Reagan earned All-Region and All-State honors while also claiming a state individual title in wrestling.
Following his prep career, Reagan played his collegiate football career at Vanderbilt. Reagan climbed the ranks quickly to earn a starting spot on the offensive line in 2015 and never looked back. Bruno would make 40 consecutive starts by the end of his collegiate career.
Reagan would be picked up by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2019, but eventually found success as a member of the St. Louis Battlehawks in the XFL. While the season was short lived due to COVID-19, Reagan has something new to look forward to.
At the end of February, Reagan announced via social media that he had signed a contract with the returning United States Football League (USFL). On February 22nd-23rd, the USFL began their draft with Reagan being picked in the 20th round, pick number 3 to the Tampa Bay Bandits.
“Very neat Bruno is such and intelligent hardworking guy,” said Shelby about Bruno. “I love to run into him at wrestling matches watching the Wildcats. I hope he gets to play as long as he wants.”
The Bandits will start their season off against the Birmingham Stallions.
